Busy Bee #26

Saw this wacky idea for an "Angry J. Jonah Jameson" meme, and was terribly amused by it. Full story (with link to all my versions) in The Transmutation Effect.

Whew! And now I'm caught up with the posts for the past seven days of creativity. So let's see...it's been four months so far of posts, and this is the 26th post, so that's an average of 6.5 creative endeavours a month. Not a remarkably high number, but more than one a week! And some are more involved than others, so that's fairly decent. There's also been some ongoing creative projects over the past few months that haven't seen the light of day yet, so hopefully they'll make it to The Wretched Hive soon and will add to the body of work.

ONWARD!

Sam Kirkpatrick asked me to make a bunch of scene transition graphics for his comic book move, "Captain Constitution". And I get steak and whiskey out of the deal! (I'm just including the splash screen here, so the rest can have the impact they need within his film.)

Next up we have materials for the final week of Troy Sterling's Air Guitar Madness. I really loved this show and it inspired me to make lotsa stuff. The above "Those About To Rock" image was both an online promo and a mini-poster which we plastered all over the theater. I also had fun making some images for the other Ultimate Air Guitarists, either for the video or just because the original pictures looked so cool and begged to be made into identity screens. Yikes! I've been lax in keeping this up to date the last week. Been doing a lot of projects, which is good. There'll be a couple more updates today to catch up.

Just a silly little thing I mocked up for somebody I work with. The picture is from her 1963 high school yearbook. Apparently she actually *was* featured in an ad for a local savings and loan, so I mocked up what I thought it might look like as a lark.

Ah, I forgot to put these up when I made them two weeks ago. Just a wacky idea for Joe Jones Bingo, with all of Joe's improv mannerisms and whatnot. Then people requested more, and I made cards for Star Wars, Eitan, and Shutrump.
